Day 3: More Paris and More Heat

I think that the heat is finally getting to me. I figured on a leisurely day to avoid the heat. I decided my mission for the day was to get a ticket  for an evening boat cruise on the Seine River. I never realized how many companies have cruises. by the time I chose one I had walked up and down the Seine and all over the Isle de France. I was exhausted.

I finally used the Metro system to up to take pictures of the Moulon Rouge. It wasn't open but it is such a classic building. It is also in the area where many of the immigrant communities live. There were many Africans from West Africa and Northern Africa. They don't seem to assimilate into the rest of French society and I do not get the impression that it is their fault.

After hanging here for awhile, I headed home for a nap!

I ate a home and was out at 7:00 pm for my evening cruise.

Down to the river to meet my cruise. I was able to get on the top with a wonderful view. If this is my last time to see Paris, this is the way to remember it.

Home and packing
